Get into the 'swim of things' with North Area Parks aquatic programs

TITUSVILLE, Fla.—Brevard County Parks and Recreation’s North Area Parks Operations is offering swim lessons, private swim lessons and open swim at the Titusville High Pool, 150 S. Terrier Trail.

Swim lessons are currently being offered in four sessions ending July 29. Each session runs for two weeks. Classes are offered in the morning and evening with each class lasting 45 minutes. The cost is $45 per child with additional children in the same household being $40. Private swim lessons are available at a cost of $20 per half hour and are based on availability.

Parent and child classes are $30 per session and classes are 30 minutes. Parent or guardian must be in the pool with the child at all times. Each session runs for two weeks. No discount applies to this class.

Open swim is offered on Saturday, Sunday and holidays, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at a fee of $2 per person.  Pool rentals are available based on availability.

Registration for all aquatics activities is available at North Area Parks Operations office, 475 North Williams Avenue, Titusville, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additional information can be obtained by calling Mike Herman(321) 264 5105.
